Georgia employers in advanced manufacturing, energy or construction can apply to the Technical College System of Georgia's Industry-Driven Skills Training Fund, which reimburses up to 80% of training costs, capped at $7,000 per participant. Georgia Retraining Tax Credit

50% of direct costs, up to $500 per employee

A credit of 50% of the direct cost of retraining full-time employees on new technology.

HOW MUCH

Up to $500 per employee per approved program per year, $1,250 per employee a year across programs. Offsets up to 50% of state income tax.

  • Training on mass-market office software is excluded
