Alabama Customized Training Grants: A Practical Employer Guide

Alabama has no cash grant for customized training. Its main route is AIDT, the state training agency, which designs and delivers job-specific training for new and expanding companies at no cost to the company, so you receive training, not money. Existing companies can use AIDT upskilling at its centers of excellence. The other route is WIOA customized training through your regional Alabama Career Center, where you commit to hire the trained worker and pay a significant share of the cost.
