How Louisiana OJT Reimbursement Actually Works for Employers

Louisiana OJT runs through WIOA and your local American Job Center. The federal rule lets an employer be reimbursed up to 50% of a trainee's wages, and up to 75% where the local board documents why. Louisiana boards publish no rates, so call your board's Business Services Representative. The WORKS Training Fund can also reimburse wages during structured on-the-job training, up to 80% of allowable costs. Louisiana is also phasing from 15 local boards to a statewide system, so expect process changes.
