Maryland Customized Training Grants: A Practical Employer Guide

Maryland has no statewide employer customized training grant. Customized training runs through your local workforce board under WIOA: you commit to hire the trained worker and pay a significant share of the cost. Employ Prince George's publishes the clearest terms in the state: a match of at least 10% and a promise to hire into full-time permanent jobs with health benefits. In other areas, ask your local American Job Center what the board funds.
