Virginia State Training Grants for Employers

Virginia's main state training incentives are run by VEDP and go to companies that create jobs. The Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP) pays a customized cash grant per new or retrained full-time job and is approved before a project is announced. The Virginia Talent Accelerator Program gives free recruiting and training services, not cash. Both need a new or expanding project, so most small employers will use WIOA programs through local boards instead.
